AVVC 15 Regional Mayhem takes is all at the Atlantic Valley Tournament
and earns the title of “Champion”. The Team went undefeated on their
first round of pool play out playing WWVBC, LIBA, NJVBC and The Smurfs.
Everyone played amazingly with Catherine Alapatt setting and having
Natalie Harris and Leah Rich playing middle. The back row held a strong
front thanks to Elena Scarano and Talia Gonzalez. Megan Woods, Alexa
Barber, Dana and Kayla Cursi who all switched between right side and
outside played with much intensity. All the Girls, especially Claire
Barnum, had many serving runs consisting of multiple aces each. The
Girls Played TCV blue in the semi finals and took them two sets to
none. Mayhem continued to the finals taking on the girls of Essex and
won the first set, lost the hard fought second set and owned the third
set 15-4 taking it all. It truly was a team effort and the entire team
should be so proud with their results. Way to go Mayhem!
