The "Wolfpack" strikes again! 

It was only a matter of time before our 17 National Team walked away with a tournament victory.  With finishes of 2nd, 5th, 2nd, and 2nd, the "Wolfpack" knew it was time at our own AVVC 17 Open Tournament.

The morning pool proved to be successful with easy wins over Cutshot 17-1, NJVBC 17 National, and Sportime 17's.  WIth a first place finish in pool play without dropping a set, our 17 National Team was set to begin playoffs facing Essex 17 Black, who finished second in their pool.  A tight battle in both sets til 16-16 when the "Wolfpack" went on serving runs to solidify their victory.  Still without dropping a set all day, our AVVC 17 National Team found their way into the Open Finals against Lady Chargers 17-1.

Facing a Lady Chargers 17-1 Team that was loud, yelling, and distracting, our 17 National "Wolfpack" stay poised and controlled.  After a small initial battle, our 17 National Team quickly quieted the Lady Chargers with pinpoint serving.  1st set AVVC 25-16.  With a lapse in serve receive, the "Wolfpack" quickly found themselves down 13-19 in the second.  Yet without fail, our 17 National team stayed quietly confident they could still come back for a victory.  With senior Alana Aranjo serving lasers and terrific defense backing her, the "Wolfpack" won 12 straight points to win the set and match 25-19.  What a finish!

Congrats to Alana, Amber, Amy, Annie, Julie, Kristen, Laryssa, Lindsay, Macy, and Tori!  Keep it up!
