That time of year is here again.  As we get rolling along with our boy's program which looks to yield 2 teams (u18 and u16), we also look ahead and prepare for the upcoming girl's season.

Atlantic Valley Volleyball Club continues to grow with about 40 coaches and counting on staff which means more years of experience coaching your sons and daughters, and more networking connections to help our players get in to schools that they want to go to to continue their volleyball and academic careers.  Our girl's program goals are to have 2 teams per age group from 12's to 18's, and continue our revamped Leapfrog program for co-ed players 13 and under.  We also are looking forwards to creating a middle school age program with less commitment than the traditional club season.

I'm always pleased with the amount of coaches that want to continue with our program as our turnover rate is minuscule.  And every year we add on another 8-10 coaches that want to be part of the AVVC family.  The number of our staff with collegiate coaching experience is unparalled (I think at least 1/3 of staff), and we have numerous coaches that hail from international waters (Brazil, Haiti, Puerto Rico) and the rest born and bred in the good ole USA!

As we always do, we do recommend that all players and parents research heavily into the history of a club in the region, their coaches, their board, and where their players end up.  Ask former players about their experiences, ask parents about theirs, and look at the length and success of a program.  Make sure it fits what you are really looking for without being pressured or persuaded.

The excitement is there for this year and bringing on NIKE as our sponsor only adds to the excitement.   Looking forwards to seeing all at girl's tryouts!
