I regret to inform you that after much thought I am resigning from the AVVC board effective immediatley. This decision will allow me to better carry out my duties as the new GEVA commissioner. It has been a wonderful 8 years working with many dedicated people to help establish AVVC as one of the premier clubs in the country. We should also be proud of the fact that we set a very high standard as we brought total club transparency and responsibility to a very muddied arena. We also have a very long list of accomplished alumni both in an out of volleyball. Just look at how many new clubs we have spawned. I also realize I am the last connection back to the original Atlantic volleyball and leave Rick as the last connection to pre merger Raritan Valley club.
I will continue to help AVVC along with any other program that needs help to promote volleyball in the region. My door is always open to all and know we will stay in contact as our paths cross during the season. Since my duties have dwindled the last few years due to my GEVA duties there is not too much I need to transition but feel free to ask for help with anything.
Thank you and good luck
Bob
