Atlantic Valley VBC Announces Boys' Team Tryouts for 2013-14 Season
Yes....you heard right. We said boys!
AVVC Boys Tryouts
Where: East Coast Conditioning Sportsplex
216 Tingley Lane, Edison, NJ 08820
When: 9/8/2013 and 9/15/2013 From 2:00-4:30 PM
Who: High School Boys aged 14-18
What do you need to bring to tryouts:
1. A $25 check made out to AVVC
2. Proof of registration at geva.org/registration
Note: A special $10 USAV registration can be obtained for five tryouts dates valid for boys 9/7 thru 10/26. The registration can be upgraded to full membership if you make a team.
3. USA Volleyball medical release form filled out: (http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Volleyball/Membership/Forms-and-Information)

Who is Coach Anthony Valbrun?
o Qualified by over 25 years of experience both as a coach and a player.
o GEVA 18 Open Girls Champions 2013, AVVC head coach (2006-Present)
o Women's Volleyball Head Coach at Bloomfield College (2006 - 2010).
o Led Bloomfield College to three conference semi-finals in a four seasons span.
o Women's Head Coach at NJIT (2001-2002) and Purchase University (1993).
o Two time member of the Haitian national team
o Played in two international competitions (NORCECA 1990 and Pan American games 1988)
o Two-time starting member of the NJIT varsity volleyball team in the OH and RS positions.
