After taking a first place finish at the Downstate tournament, Intensity was looking for another strong showing at the Charger Rumble in Orangeburg, NY.  The day started off strong in their 5 team pool, sweeping Oxygen 14 Modified 25-21 and 25-17.  Their next opponent was a familiar Bayside Vipers team, which Intensity had faced before.  Once again, Intensity took care of the vipers in straight sets, 25-11 and 25-17.  Intensity then continued their strong day of pool play and beat LI Fury 25-21 and 25-17.  Their last opponent of the day was also undefeated, and Intensity knew the level of volleyball was going to be stronger in their final match against Rival 14 teal.  Intensity did not back off of their strong play, winning the pool by beating Rival 25-22 and 25-20.  Right away playoffs started, and Intensity was matched up against another familiar team Oxygen 14.  A back and forth match, Intensity almost let the match be forced into a 3^rd set, but hung on to win 25-16 27-25.  A trip to the final match is not unfamiliar territory for Intensity.  Their match up was against Alpha Gamma 14 Kaepa, which was a very tall team and Intensity came out on the court a little bit intimidated by their size, but never once backed down.  Eventually Intensity fell in straight sets 15-25 and 20-25, but never gave up.  Good job Intensity!
