Last weekend, AVVC 16 Red traveled up to Allentown, PA for the “Muhlenberg March Madness” tournament. This tournament was the first KRVA tournament the team entered, and was excited to play competition outside of their region. The team did not disappoint. 16 Red managed to steer their way to an impressive 4-0 match play record, 8-0 set play record in pool play. With pool play opponents such as Highline, WACO, Crosscourt, and CJVA, the girls earned a #1 seed going into a 4-team playoff.

Playoffs started with the team played #4 PVA, and won 25-12, 25-16. With another tournament win in mind, the girls finished strong with a very impressive 25-9, 25-13 match that sealed a great trip out to Allentown, PA.

A special thank you to our parents, as well as family and friends who always support us at every venue we go to! The girls will be traveling this weekend to York, PA where they will be competing in a MAPL league tournament.
