Team Chaos traveled out to the farmlands of Lancaster, PA for the 2013 MLK Kickoff Classic.  Chaos started the tournament coming out on top of Essex 17 White 25-18, 25-15.  The girls hit a bump and dropped a close second match 21-25, 17-25 to a tough Cali 17 Black team.  The girls regrouped for the last match of the day and earned an exciting win against CHVBC 17 Black 27-25, 25-19 keeping them in the upper Gold/Silver bracket.

     The girls carried the momentum of their last match into day two.  First was Push the Rock 17 Howard which Chaos topped 25-15, 25-14.  Next was Quandomania and again Chaos won 25-12, 25-20.  The last match of day two was against a strong DIGS 17 white team.  From the first serve, the girls attacked, stuck together and didn’t look back, resulting in an impressive 25-13, 25-16 victory and sealing their spot in the Gold bracket.

     Chaos began day three in the Gold bracket facing Sparks 17, once again victorious 25-19, 25-21.  Next up was a tough P3R 17 Fort Duquesne team which ended the girls’ run 23-25, 15-25 - one match short of the finals.  Overall the tournament was a success, with Chaos showing heart and determination throughout, finishing 3^rd in Gold.
