14 White Intensity headed out to Lancaster, PA ready to play and they showed it right from the start.  Their first match of the day was against MVSA Heat. A back and forth match from the beginning, the Heat proved to be too much for Intensity, just barely squeaking by winning 17-19.  But Intensity was not going to let that affect the rest of their day.  Intensity took on GEVA opponent Performance 14 Navy winning 25-20 and 25-19.  Their last match of the day was against Freedom 14 Teal.  Intensity knew that this match was a must win in order to make it to the gold/silver bracket, and they took care of business winning 25-17, 25-19.  Going 2-1 on the first day set the stage perfectly for Intensity to accomplish their goal of being in the gold or silver bracket.  Day 2 was a little bit tougher for Intensity, starting off the day with a tough loss to CALI 14 Black, 18-25 and 24-26.  The next two matches were tough for Intensity as well, losing both matches to BRYA and VA Juniors.  This placed Intensity in the Silver bracket.  With an early 8 AM Monday morning start, Intensity faced JStroke 14’s.  The beginning of the match Intensity could not get it together and JStroke was taking full advantage, taking a 11-21 lead.  Finally, Intensity woke up and made an AMAZING comeback, taking the set point by point and winning 26-24. This set Intensity up to win the match in two sets.  In the semi-finals of the silver bracket, Intensity faced a familiar BRYC team.  Pushing it to 3 sets, Intensity could not tame the tough serving and lost in the 3rd set.  Overall, Intensity had a great weekend at MLK, for their second tournament together, they finished 11th out of 32 teams! Not a bad start to the season!
