Attempting to make a name for themselves in GEVA, our AVVC 17-1 Red team took to GEVA by FORCE at the New Year's Classic Tournament at CT Sports Center on 1/5/13!  

With a difficult matchup to start against Downstate 17-1, our AVVC 17-1 Red team put to use what they had learned thus far at practices, grinding out a hard fought victory in 2.  1-0 for the season.  Next up were back to back matches against 2 tough foes, LI Fury 17-1 and AllStarr 17-1.  "Force" came out strong and disposed of LI Fury in 2.  After a relatively easy first set vs AllStarr, an epic battle ensued in the second with our AVVC 17-1 Red team losing 28-30.  Third set was all "Force", with a victory in 3 15-8.  3-0 in pool play and a top seed for playoffs!
