14 White Intensity started their day off right with a two set victory over CT Impact. They didn’t have much time to celebrate their win, because immediately after their first win of the season, they had to face the number one seed in the pool LHVA 14s.  The first set was back and forth for the entire match, and each team had their fair share to put away the game, but in the end LHVA came out on top 26-28.  The second set was equally as close, but Intensity just missed it again, losing 23-25.  Dropping to 1-1 on the day so far.  The next opponent Intensity had to face was DAC Aspire Mirage.  Dropping the first set 13-25, Intensity knew that they needed to bounce back quickly in the second set in order to keep their playoff hopes alive, and they did just that.  Intensity took the second set easily 25-13.  The third set was a neck and neck battle, and after being down 7-11, Intensity reset and was able to pull off a comeback win 15-11, giving them 2nd place in pool play.  After a long break, Intensity faced off against Suffern Rip It, and fell flat in the first set, letting Rip It control the set.  The second set was much different, and Intensity took control forcing a 3rd set, which the girls fought hard to get an early lead and maintained it throughout the entire set.  Headed for the semi-finals, Intensity faced another DAC Aspire team.  Unfortunately Intensity could not hold off a tough Downstate team to make it to the finals, losing in straight sets.  Overall, Coach Meghan was extremely happy with the way that all of the girls worked together and used everything they have been taught in practice throughout the tournament, and cannot wait to see what Intensity can do throughout the season!
