The 2011-2012 club season is underway and AVVC’s 14 National team “Fusion” is ready to get back on the road. With a tough loss right out of the gate to Downstate’s 14-1 team at the New Year’s Classic, Team Fusion quickly regained their footing and pulled together to secure second place in pool play beating NYC Juniors 14 Blue and Academy 14-2. Advancing to the playoffs, Fusion had a tough loss in the first round to Hurricane – Lime, who went on to win dominate the playoffs and win the New Year’s Classic Championship Title. 

At the MLK Kickoff Classic, Fusion was ready to fight and fight they did. Ending the weekend with only one W, there were many close games and many great lessons learned. Each game, Fusion continued to fight. Each game, they continued to talk and work together. Each game, they improved their skills and knowledge of the game. Keep up the hard work ladies! Onwards and upwards!
