Meng, who captained the Mustangs with Manzi, plays the sport year round. She’s everywhere on defense. She played setter for the Mustangs last season, but saw action at libero at the club level. She thrived at libero, prompting Marlboro coach Margie McNamara to give her a shot at playing the position this season. Meng was known to dive to the floor for balls.
