This Saturday, AVVC Blaze had a great GEVA tournament win! The girls had an overall great day with an ending record of 5-0 crushing any team that stood in their way. The first match of the day was against Princeton Volleyball Club. The girls had a slow start and a rocky second set losing a player to a sprained ankle but ended up finishing in two sets. After that, the girls played with complete confidence and had a blast while staying controlled against LIVBC 15-1 and Creole 16-1, finishing in two sets with both teams. After winning their pool, Blaze went on to play Core 16-1 to get into the finals. They finished yet again in two amazing sets in which they also had a lot of fun in. The final match was against Princeton Volleyball Club and the girls won yet again in two sets ending the day with their first tournament win!
